The Back Story...

Mt Isa Practice

David and Louise Rose are Physiotherapists with more than 20 years’ experience and both have Master’s qualifications in Ergonomics (University of Queensland, 2007).

David and Louise Rose are Physiotherapists with more than 20 years’ experience and both have Master’s qualifications in Ergonomics (University of Queensland, 2007).

They started their careers in Brisbane, but their interest in Occupational Health took them to Mount Isa in far North-western Queensland, and in 2005 they took ownership of Mount Isa Physiotherapy Centre (MIPC). Shortly afterwards they established Ergofix as an Ergonomics Consulting arm of MIPC. Ergofix works alongside Mount Isa Physiotherapy Centre – sharing specialised knowledge, and facilitating a functional outcome-based approach for all our physiotherapy and rehabilitation clients.

Over the last 8 years the Roses and their skilled team have built a recognized and awarded Physiotherapy and Occupational Health practice focused on workplace rehabilitation and injury prevention.

By 2008 the business had outgrown its original site and relocated to modern purpose-built premises, incorporating a unique Work Hardening Centre. This service has been recognized by Q-Comp, the QldWorker’s Compensation Regulatory Authority, with the Rehabilitation Provider award in 2012. View more here

We are committed to the participative model of ergonomics, where all levels of the workforce are involved to facilitate optimal health, safety, efficiency, productivity satisfaction.

We are proud to have recently opened our second office: Ergofix Coffs Harbour (August 2013). We look forward to continuing our tradition of excellence in Physiotherapy, and also bringing our Occupational Health expertise, gained through years of experience in the Mining Industry, to the Coffs Coast.
