Payments & Insurance
HICAPS & Medicare EPCsAt ergofix we are able to bill your health fund directly using HICAPS. There is usually a "gap" payment which will depend upon your contract with your health insurer.
We also participate in Medicare Team Care Plans (Enhanced Primary Care plans or EPC's) if this has been referred by your GP, and we can bill Medicare on your behalf if you have provided us with the correct forms and paperwork - however there is a "gap" involved (ie the difference between our fee and the medicare rebate which is currently $52.95 (click here for current fees and to calculate your Medicare gap payment)
One of our senior physios is a Bupa Members’s First provider?
What does this mean? You can use your BUPA health insurance, or any health insurance, to assist with paying for any of our physiotherapy services, however for additional benefits associated with "Member's First" you must make an appointment with our "Member's First" physiotherapist. There may be higher "gap" payments if you book with other Physiotherapists who are not Member's First providers.
What are the benefits of the Member's First network?
