HICAPS & Medicare EPCs

At ergofix we are able to bill your health fund directly using HICAPS. There is usually a "gap" payment which will depend upon your contract with your health insurer.
We also participate in Medicare Team Care Plans (Enhanced Primary Care plans or EPC's) if this has been referred by your GP, and we can bill Medicare on your behalf if you have provided us with the correct forms and paperwork - however there is a "gap" involved (ie the difference between our fee and the medicare rebate which is currently $52.95 (click here for current fees and to calculate your Medicare gap payment)

One of our senior physios is a Bupa Members’s First provider?

What does this mean?

You can use your BUPA health insurance, or any health insurance, to assist with paying for any of our physiotherapy services, however for additional benefits associated with "Member's First" you must make an appointment with our "Member's First" physiotherapist. There may be higher "gap" payments if you book with other Physiotherapists who are not Member's First providers.

What are the benefits of the Member's First network?

Higher benefits – in most instances you’ll receive additional value with higher benefits as well as the added certainty of knowing how much you will be charged for treatment and how much you’ll get back on most Physio services*
Get between 60% and 100%* back at Member's First providers for most physio services.
Gap free for your kids up to the age of 25 – on most physio on a range of extras products when taken with hospital cover on a family membership subject to yearly limits and waiting periods.
* Subject to members level of extras cover, yearly limits, fund rules and waiting periods may apply. Please visit the Bupa website for more details or contact us at ergofix.
